Rules

These rules apply to all Erodia platforms (server, website, Discord, and related services). By playing on Erodia, you agree to follow them.

1) Chat & Behavior

• Respect is mandatory: no harassment, provocation, intimidation, humiliation, or targeted behavior.
• No harmful/sensitive content: discrimination, hate speech, sexism, homophobia, racism, threats, doxxing, incitement to hate, etc.
• No flood / spam: repeated messages, character spam, message bursts, excessive caps, repeated ads.
• No cheating discussion: talking about cheats, promoting them, or “as a joke” is forbidden.
• Advertising & commercial messages: any in-game commercial announcement must use the official announcement system/command (e.g. /announce) or the dedicated channel.

2) Cheating, Exploits & Third-Party Software

• Any form of cheating is forbidden: autoclickers, unauthorized macros, scripts, modified clients, advantage overlays, external tools, etc.
• Abusive AFK is forbidden: any system designed to avoid inactivity, prevent AFK kicks, or force auto-reconnect is prohibited.
• Third-party tools/mods/plugins: anything that provides an advantage (visual, information, automation, etc.) is forbidden unless explicitly approved by staff.
• Bots / vote automation: using bots or any method to automate/assist votes, actions, or website/server rewards is strictly forbidden.

3) Theft, Raiding & Damage

• Stealing, raiding, damaging, or sabotaging any build/area that is not yours is strictly forbidden in all worlds/zones.
• This applies even if the area is not protected, or even if you had temporary access in the past.
• Draining shared resources: if you leave a group/party, you may not “empty” shared storage/resources.
You may only take what belongs to you or what you personally farmed.

4) Territories, Claims & Neighbors

• Before settling, you must keep a minimum distance from any existing territory so you do not block a neighboring project (reference: 15 zones/claims).
• The player who was there first keeps a reasonable right to expand (reference: +5 zones) even if this reduces the distance.
• The distance can only be reduced/removed if both parties agree.
Keep proof (message, screenshot, or written in-game agreement).
• If rules are not respected, and the victim requests it, staff may apply measures: relocation, removal, rollback, etc.
• PvP / killing: killing another player is forbidden unless there is clear agreement between the players (event, duel, explicit consent).

5) Economy, Trading & Auction House

• Scams are forbidden: fake trades, broken promises, fraud through UI/warp/party/claims, etc.
• Premium advantage items: items obtained via premium perks (e.g. special commands/benefits) may not be sold.
• Some items/services may have minimum prices defined by the server economy. Staff may adjust them if necessary.

6) Bugs & Abuse

• Abusing bugs that can harm server integrity is severely punished.
• If you discover a bug, you must report it to staff as soon as possible.
• Abusing a bug “because everyone does it” is still punishable.

7) Automation & Performance (Anti-Lag Rules)

• Heavy systems/automation must be easily switchable off (lever, command, mechanism).
• Infinite loops, always-running farms/automation, or anything that causes lag is forbidden.
• Staff may temporarily disable a system deemed too heavy or unbalanced while a final decision is made.

8) Forbidden Builds & Systems

Forbidden:

• Any automation/duplication/exploit system designed to create an unfair advantage
• Any build intended to degrade performance
• Any AFK/automated farming mechanic that violates the rules above

If in doubt: ask staff before building.

9) Alt Accounts

• Alt accounts are not allowed.
• Exception: if multiple people play from the same IP (family/roommates), contact staff (ticket) before playing.

10) Usernames & Skins

• Offensive, hateful, inappropriately sexual, or targeted usernames/avatars/skins are forbidden.
• Identity impersonation (staff/player/organization) is forbidden.

11) Refunds & Restorations

Bug / server-related loss
• You must provide proof: screenshots, videos, logs, etc.

Theft / grief
• The area must be protected (territory/claim).
• The offender must not have had permissions allowing legitimate access/actions in your area.
• Without sufficient proof, staff may refuse the request.

12) Sanction Appeals

• You may appeal a sanction if you provide evidence.
• Staff reserves the right to accept or deny an appeal.
• Any disrespectful appeal is rejected immediately.
• No appeals will be processed for sanctions related to: racism, severe insults, malicious intent, etc.

13) Reporting & Staff Authority

• Report any rule-breaking via ticket (ideally with evidence).
• The Erodia team reserves the right to restrict access, limit features, warn, or apply temporary/permanent sanctions when needed for safety, stability, or the community.
• A staff member may sanction behavior even if it is not listed here, if deemed necessary.
• These rules may be updated at any time.
